By booking accommodation, either directly or online, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Hotel management reserve the right to cancel or terminate your reservation if you do not accept or comply with any of the hotel terms, conditions and policies.

Please note that any waiver of any of the terms and conditions will be at the sole discretion of the Hotel and its Management

1.Guarantee + Payment  

You agree to provide guarantor credit card details at the time of reservation to confirm your booking. This credit card will not be charged at time of booking, but will be charged on your arrival, unless you advise us at the time that you wish to pay by an alternative method. The guarantor card will also act as a security deposit for your accommodation and any incidental charges. We accept Visa and Mastercard and a 2.5% surcharge applies on all credit card payments. No fee applies to any Eftpos / debit transactions.. 
In some cases, a prepaid deposit may be required. You will be informed of this at the time of making the reservation 
Please note the person making the booking must be 18 years or older. Proof of age may also be required at check in.

2. Cancellation  

2.1  FIT travellers may cancel up to 3 days (72 hours) before arrival (based on 3pm check in) to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellation fee is equal to the cost of 1 night of stay, unless advised otherwise at the time of confirmation of your booking.
2.2 Group bookings of 4 rooms or more may cancel up to 30 days prior based on the date of check in to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellation fee of group bookings is equal to the cost of 1 night stay, unless advised otherwise at the time of confirmation of your booking.
2.3 In the event of non-payment, the hotel reserves the right to charge the full stay value to the guarantor’s credit card supplied at the time of confirmation/reservation. 
2.4 In the case of a no show the full value of the reservation will be charged.  
2.5  Notwithstanding the above clauses , should late cancellation arise out of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party, the late cancellation fee may be waived at the sole discretion of the property. Should the property agree to waive the fee, any deposit paid up until the date of cancellation would be repayable in full within 10 working days of receipt and acknowledgement of the cancellation. We advise strongly that guests have travel insurance that will cover situations that may disrupt travel arrangements beyond their control.

3. Arrival + Departure.  

Our normal check-in times are 3PM – 6PM (15.00 - 18.00) daily, and normal check out time is before 11.00AM. Please discuss with reception if your check in or check out needs are outside of these times, so suitable arrangements can be made.  

4. Child Policy

Children under the age of 12yrs can stay free if using existing bedding. No other additional bedding is available therefore an additional booking may be necessary. 
All persons under the age of 18 years are classed as a child for the purposes of this agreement, and as such, must be always supervised by a responsible adult. The hotel accepts no responsibility for any unsupervised children whilst staying at the hotel

5. Quiet Enjoyment / Noise

All guests and visitors are required to respect the quiet enjoyment of all other guests during their stay at 14th Lane Hotel. Noise levels should be kept at an acceptable level as judged by Hotel management, or by other hotel guests, at any time of the day but especially during Hotel QUIET HOURS beginning at 10pm nightly and going through to 7am the following morning. If a noise complaint is made, one warning from management will be given to quieten, any further breach may result in immediate termination of your stay with no refund. Eviction would also apply to any visitors that may also be present. Running in hallways and stairwells is also not permitted for Health and Safety reasons and as part of this noise policy.

6. Miscellaneous

  • All rates are subject to change. Rates quoted are GST inclusive (15%) unless stated otherwise
  • Rates quoted are not guaranteed when changes are made to any existing bookings
  • For the safety and security of the hotel and its guests, you may be required to produce photo ID at check-in.
  • We are a non-smoking hotel, smoking is not permitted in any areas including rooms and public spaces. Should you or your guests smoke in a room or space, a cleaning fee will apply and you will be liable for any costs arising from loss of income or damage incurred because of smoking. This may be charged to the guarantor credit card, or billed directly to your account.
  • Any damage to the room or property may be charged to the guarantor credit card provided or billed to your account. This may also include any loss of income arising from any damage if applicable.
  • You will be liable for the replacement cost of any breakages or loss of items incurred during your stay, this includes any loss of income that the hotel may incur because of these losses or damage. These will be charged as incidentals to your account or your guarantor credit card
  • Animals are not permitted at the hotel excepting for Guide and Hearing Assistance dogs
  • The Hotel and its management or staff are not responsible for the safekeeping of any vehicles, monies, valuables, or goods brought to the hotel during your stay. You agree to hold the hotel, its management and staff, or its agents, blameless for any loss or damage that may be incurred to these items and you agree to indemnify them from any compensation or action in regards loss or damage, unless it is proven to have been caused or contributed to by the negligence of the Hotel, its management, staff, or its agents.  Digital safes are provided in all rooms for guest convenience if required. This policy also extends to any injury incurred during your stay including personal injury or death.
